Beach Kimono
Kimono, a sort of full-length traditional garment, is the national
costume of Japan. These beach kimonos are T-shaped ankle length, straight-lined
robes, with collars and full-length, wide sleeves. The sleeves are generally very
wide at the wrist, sometimes as wide as half a meter. Japanese kimonos are rather
prominent and popular in the fashion industry and beach clothing. There have been
many variations in the colors, fabric and style, as well as the usage of kimonos.
Today, kimonos are used as fashionable beach garments, and are styled like bathrobes
with a belt stitched in the garment, or sometimes these are worn over various
Western clothes such as a coat. Now-a-days, the kimonos have built their way into
the fashion world of women in their twenties and thirties.
